Mission Viejo’s Heritage House Opens for Free Public Visit November 15

MISSION VIEJO — November 2, 2026. The city has scheduled a free open house at its Heritage House in Melinda Park for Sunday, November 15, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

A former home-sales center

The building was once a Mission Viejo Company sales center where prospective buyers learned about the developing community. The city established it as a heritage interpretation site in 2003.

A newly refreshed history display

Mission Viejo says the Heritage House has been renovated and now offers updated information about people and events shaping the city’s history. The November open house welcomes visitors of all ages with no reservation required.

Location and follow-up

Heritage House is at 28951 Melinda Road, at the corner with Santa Margarita Parkway. Residents can email localhistory@cityofmissionviejo.org if they need to confirm accessibility or an event detail.
