Mission Viejo Library Plans STEAM Anniversary November 5 and Community Quilt Unveiling November 6

MISSION VIEJO — November 2, 2026. Mission Viejo Library’s November 2026 programming includes a science-and-making anniversary for children and a public unveiling of a community-made quilt.

One year of STEAM Powered

Children ages 6–12 are invited to the STEAM Powered anniversary gathering Thursday, November 5 at 3:30 p.m. in the Friends Storytime Room. The library says the program will include hands-on experiments and activities.

A quilt celebrating American history

On Friday, November 6 at 6 p.m., the library will unveil a collaborative quilt marking America’s 250th anniversary. The city identifies the project as a community creation, not an individual artist’s finished commission.

Where to go

Mission Viejo Library is at 100 Civic Center. Confirm room access and program capacity in the official library calendar, particularly because an evening celebration may have different entry arrangements from standard library hours.
